Happy Tuesday! How is everyone’s week going so far? Yesterday, my husband, daughter and I celebrated my birthday. The big 2-7!! We spent the day relaxing, eating and going to Tot Rock (our daughter’s music class) – it was fabulous.
While I lounged most of the day, I did take advantage of the time I had to myself during my daughter’s nap by making a really easy Valentine’s Day craft. It’s so simple that I wanted to quickly share it with all of you. In case you missed it, here is the Valentine’s Day banner I made earlier this month.
What you’ll need:
- Thin, square pieces of wood (can be found at Hobby Lobby or other craft stores)
- Heart-shaped pieces of wood
- Paint and/or stain
- Paint brush/sponge brush
- Hot glue gun
Here’s how to put everything together:
First, I painted and stained the square pieces of wood, and then painted the wooden hearts.
After the paint and stain dried, I glued the painted hearts to the center of each square.
That’s it! Basically a 2-3 step process for an adorable Valentine’s Day craft to display in your home. If you end up making this craft, don’t forget to tag your photos with #marinamakesdiy.
This is cute!
