Sparkling Cider

IT’S FRIDAY!!!!!

Yes, even moms like me who don’t work a typical 9-5 still celebrate on Fridays because it means the weekend is just one sweet day away.

Last weekend was great because I got to go on a date with my husband (shout out and thanks to the in-laws for watching the kids) and indulge in Italian fare and wine. A win-win in my book. While I thoroughly enjoyed munching on pizza and pasta, I think I enjoyed my wine more, which is probably a first for me (food is ALWAYS number one).

To keep my drink momentum going, this weekend I think I’ll take it upon myself to enjoy a seasonal drink, and because I enjoy bubbly 365 days a year, I plan on making this sparkling cider. Luckily, we have plenty of champagne to go around. I still have to crack open the bottle I bought while in Napa and my husband just got one for his birthday.

This drink screams me because it doesn’t have hard alcohol in it, and it’s simple and very refreshing. For garnish, it’s topped with Granny Smith apple, adding an extra tang and crispiness. I’d definitely recommend making it for your next fall gathering, like friendsgiving maybe?? Don’t forget to tag your photos with #marinamakeseats!
