With everything going on in the world, it’s really hard to keep focus on the things we had planned as a family, what I had planned to get done work-wise and the content I planned on sharing with all of you. My mind and emotions have been all over the place trying to guess and predict what our future will look like bringing a newborn into the world in a couple of short weeks. I’ve cried, I’ve had to take deep breaths and I’ve been at peace with everything all at the same time. I’m just trying my best to trust God and go into labor knowing that things may not go the way I have planned, but He will be with me every step of the way.
If you’re feeling emotional during this time, know that you’re not alone. I hope you’re still able to find little joys throughout this time of uncertainty. I hope sharing this Easter basket content will help bring a little happiness or distraction to all of you. If nothing else, I hope it can encourage you to shop small this holiday and support local businesses.
Because baby girl is scheduled to arrive in two weeks from now, she will be here when Easter comes around, which is crazy!! So… for the first time ever I have three holiday baskets put together for the kids. Below, I have links to most of the products, stores and small shops. You’ll notice Peyton and Emory’s baskets have a couple of items not pictured below – I’m just waiting for them to come in the mail, but I’ve listed the shops and products I plan to include below. The baskets are from World Market and tags are from Poppy Jack Shop!
Peyton’s Easter Basket
Ruby Red Shoes by Kate Knapp, pajamas from Cotton On (they no longer have the exact print I purchased on the site, but click the link for some other cute pjs!), felt bunny, jelly beans, stickers, bow from Knit + Knotted (a local small shop we love!!), and rainbow purse from Raine + Skye (not pictured).

Again, I hope this post gets you excited to put something special together for your kiddos, whether it’s gathering toys they’ve forgotten about or buying a couple of new items.
I’m praying you all continue to stay healthy!
