Today is National Potato Chip day, which means you shouldn’t feel guilty about cracking into a bag of Lays or Ruffles. In celebration, I made dark chocolate covered potato chips yesterday. Yes, chocolate covered potato chips are totally a thing! I have my best friend to thank for introducing me to them. She’s been obsessed with them for what seems like forever. I remember thinking they sounded gross, but then I tasted them and wanted an endless supply.
My obsession reached a whole new level when I realized how easy it is to make these bad boys at home. Just three easy steps and five minutes of my time. I didn’t even have to keep our toddler occupied while making them – it was so quick! I simply opened up a bag of Ruffles, melted some dark chocolate, dipped and that was it!
Because I’m digging this whole simplicity thing, and because this recipe could absolutely be put together by anyone (including our 20-month-old daughter), I’m going to end it here and keep this post short and sweet, too.
